Flush Fitting Plug Valve.

This pneumatically operated plug valve can be used for the introduction of powders or liquids under vacuum conditions.

This valve is constructed entirely of stainless steel and can be pneaumatically or mechanically operated. The valve plug top is flush to the base of the vessel, eliminating any cavity.

This piston type valve can handle viscous polymerising fluids and powders. The piston is sealed by two flexible seal rings, the wear of these rings is adjusted by a spring-actuated gland. This featre assures seal adjustment over a long service period.

Operation is mechanical, or pneumatic. A wide range of options are available, such as limit switches, position indicators, heating jackets etc.

Kay (UK) Engineers manufacture to order 316 stainless steel plug, powder and liquid valves for vessel bottom flush fitting.

The valves can be falling or rising stem design dependant on application and whether operating under pressure or vacuum with pneumatic or mechanical actuators.
